Speaker at the PULSE Patient Advocacy Symposium

L. Bradley Schwartz spoke about his nationwide access to medical malpractice lawyers in jurisdictions across the country. Schwartz has demonstrated his knowledge and referral resources. He connects with attorneys across the country who are able to dig deep into hospital mistakes, miscommunications, and dangerous transitions and shift changes.

Amputee Coalition

L. Bradley Schwartz was recertified as a peer mentor for amputees. He spent time at the coalition event meeting fellow amputees and promoting the GNA Survivor Support program that helps connect survivors who understand the benefits of independent advocacy for people going through situations like their own.

Keynote Speaker to an audience of 300 healthcare workers, physicians, nurses, case managers and insurance professionals in Pasadena, California, about integrating independent patient advocacy with hospital systems and healthcare in order to prevent medical errors and provide assistance for patients. Attorney Schwartz was a panelist at the Patient Experience Forum at the largest global conference on healthcare digitalization, which attracted 35.000 people to Chicago. Mr. Schwartz discussed patient engagement advances and the need for personal one-on-one advocacy to ensure better outcomes.

From his personal experience, Schwartz emphasizes that while sepsis protocols are important, they are only effective if staff actually follow them. He highlights "missed opportunities," such as unreviewed lab results, as a critical failure in care.

In response to the growing need for Independent Patient Advocacy services, Attorney Schwartz founded Greater National Advocates, a 501(c)3 nonprofit with a mission to promote Independent Patient Advocacy and make advocacy services available to patients and loved ones who need support and guidance in healthcare.

‍Formation of L. Bradley Law LLC

Since 1991, Attorney Schwartz has been a respected trial attorney and partner at a well-known Chicago litigation firm. After losing his limbs to medical malpractice, attorney Schwartz founded a new law firm dedicated to representing sepsis victims, meningitis survivors, and amputees who received either a missed or delayed misdiagnosis.
