Panelist at RIC’s National Limb Loss Awareness Month Educational Program

On April 16, 2015, L.. Bradley Schwartz was a panelist at The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago as part of RIC’s National Limb Loss Awareness Month educational program. Mr. Schwartz was joined by a panel of physicians, therapists, social workers and mental health professionals to address the RIC /Northwestern prosthetics staff, patients and amputees on different approaches to amputee care and treatment.

Patient Perspective on Extended Hospitalizations
On October 11, 2014 Brad was the featured speaker at Gentiva Hospice in Westchester, IL. Brad addressed hospice volunteers and discussed how extended hospitalizations are viewed from the perspective of the patient.  Brad shared personal experiences from his six month hospitalization during his treatment and recovery from bacterial meningitis.
