Mr. Schwartz was elected to the board of directors of The National Association of Healthcare Advocacy Consultants (NAHAC) effective April 20, 2015. NAHAC is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating on behalf of patients to ensure the most effective and affordable healthcare available. Healthcare advocates work to facilitate communication between patients and medical professionals in order to promote informed and timely medical decisions.
The organization develops and promotes standards of practice and codes of conduct for patient advocacy, educates consumers and healthcare providers on the benefits of this emerging field and partners with like-minded organizations to enhance the healthcare delivery experience.
L. Bradley Schwartz has been a member of NAHAC since he began providing healthcare advocacy services to his personal injury and medical malpractice clients in 2011.
